Principal Power Sea School is designed to give you the knowledge and
qualifications to go boating safely. With the forty-two foot motor cruiser NEW
LIFE II we can offer individual or group tuition and to complement NEW LIFE
II, we have a fleet of ribs and jet skis.
We offer the full range of RYA Power Boat Training, from Power Level 1, an
introduction, to Power Boat Instructor.
The RYA MOTOR CRUISING SCHEME.
For those who want to gain knowledge and experience of motor vessels 25 foot and
over
HELMSMAN'S COURSE.
a two day course, to include basic helmanship and safety.
DAY SKIPPER PRACTICAL.
a 2 to 3 day course to include basic navigation, pilotage boat handling and
seamanship Enables students to handle motor cruisers in familiar waters by day
COSTAL SKIPPER PRACTICAL.
A 3 to 4 day course to include skippering techniques for costal and off shore
passages day or night.
At the school in Cobbs Quay, there are class room facilities for all the shore
based courses
